Reflecting on these posts I realize how the pandemic impacted my thinking by focusing on the online space of connecting with each other. It made me wonder how we can empathize and understand each other when we might not all have the same experience and access to technology (parents, teachers, students, workers). The algorithms serve as a dichotomy and constantly present information and articles that we WANT to read. But by shifting the culturally responsive mindset to an online realm, we can build on each other's understandings and perspectives to create solutions versus arguments.
