Many of my posts during these times focused on integrating TikTok into the classroom. It is still a great way to produce new learning in a creative way. While this is a great idea to engage our students, we must be careful how we navigate its uses, equity issues, rules, and assessment. Something I had not considered though is parent input. How can parents have a say since social media safety is a valid concern? Some educational programs have forms on whether parents agree if their child can be photographed. However, we rarely see social media mentioned. Below is an example form I found that educators could possibly use that integrates use of social media.
